PMO & Architecture Support Specialist
We’re looking for a new teammate to join the System Architecture team in the Customer Journey area at Škoda Auto — someone who will help us keep our projects running smoothly. You don’t need years of experience or a strong technical background — just curiosity, interest in IT, and solid organizational skills. The role can be as technical as you want it to be. You can focus more on the project and process side (coordination, organization, administration, process improvement), or gradually dive deeper into analytical or architectural tasks (for example, supporting non-functional requirements analysis). We see this as a starting position for your professional growth — whether you’d like to become a Project Manager or an IT Architect in the future.
Is this you? We hope so!
What you’ll do:
• Organize meetings and workshops, ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Prepare presentations, status reports (Excel, PowerPoint), and materials for meetings and ceremonies
• Participate in PI Planning preparation — collecting, reviewing, and organizing inputs, preparing backlogs, ensuring the process is on track
• Ensure compliance with standards — e.g. verifying that teams correctly process non-functional requirements, features, etc.
• Manage Jira tickets (create, categorize, track progress) and maintain documentation in Confluence
• Keep meeting notes, track action items, and follow up with the team• Handle ad-hoc operational support and communication across teams
What can you do? What (skills) do you have? What do you know?
• Interest in IT and willingness to learn — whether toward project management or IT architecture
• English at least B2 – you can communicate and write meeting minutes
•Czech language is required
• Basic understanding of the IT environment (no need to code, but you know what a “feature” or “epic” is)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Jira & Confluence knowledge is an advantage (if not, we’ll teach you)
• Experience with Agile development is a plus
• Excel and PowerPoint at a practical level (clear tables and presentations)
• Responsibility and ability to follow things through
• Willingness to travel to Mladá Boleslav once every two weeks (otherwise remote/Prague)
What are your best traits?
• You communicate confidently and aren’t afraid to speak up
• You keep track of your tasks and raise a flag when something is blocking progress
• You are proactive and reliable
• You’re genuinely interested in architecture and enjoy exploring it
We offer
• Mentoring from experienced colleagues
• Work on meaningful projects for Škoda Auto
• Flexible part-time role (0.5 FTE) — ideal, for example, alongside studies
