10th AI Community Meeting
On Tuesday, December 2, the first inperson meeting of the AI@ŠkodaAuto community took place on the LKK premises. The aim was to familiarize colleagues with implemented AI use cases and current AI trends.
In his opening remarks, Petr Švarc, who moderated the entire event, summarized the joint activities of the AI community and the AI Competence Center, which are delivering quality results.
He was followed by his team—Tomáš Barczi, Jakub Střelský, and Naděžda Jakubková—who presented updates for 2026.
Marketplace
During the break, a Marketplace sprung up in the hall; community members had the opportunity to meet representatives of the Digitalization Centers and AI Business Partners from four areas, who presented their AI use cases. The stand for Area S was represented by Ondřej Česák together with colleagues from Škoda Auto, and at the Digitalization and Industry 4.0 booth, Petr Pouč gave a presentation. Both work in the AI and Data “sandbox” led by Jaroslav Rys.
Trends 2026
The event’s guest was Michal “Mike” Bubeníček, CEO of Etnetera Motion, who has long collaborated with Škoda Auto not only on creative campaigns. He pointed out that in the near future AI will generate up to 90% of online content. He spoke about linking AI tools with robotics and presented currently available tools, for example:
- Google Pomelli – capable of designing a visual marketing campaign based on a brand’s website,
- Google Nano Banana – given a latitude, longitude, and year, it can generate an event associated with that location.
He concluded by praising Škoda Auto for how successfully it is implementing AI tools in practice.
“Using AI in work and everyday life is inevitable. Explore, seek, propose—only then will we move forward together,” Petr Švarc urged the community in closing.
The AI@ŠkodaAuto community, whose operations are overseen by Matyáš Bláha (FIT), was founded in 2021.
