Travelling in an electric vehicle is now even more convenient. Škoda Auto has introduced Camp Mode, a new feature in the MyŠkoda app that makes overnight stays and longer breaks in your vehicle more comfortable. We are proud that Green:Code had the opportunity to contribute to its development.
Comfort Even During Longer Stops
Camp Mode allows drivers to maintain their preferred cabin temperature during extended breaks or overnight stays. The feature is activated directly in the MyŠkoda app by simply tapping the corresponding icon. Once activated, it switches on the air conditioning and keeps the interior at the selected temperature for the entire duration of use.
This enables drivers to use their electric vehicle as a comfortable place to rest while travelling or during longer stops.
Available for All Škoda Electric Models
Camp Mode will be available with version 8.15 of the MyŠkoda app. The feature is available without the need to visit a service centre and can be used by owners of the Epiq, Elroq, Enyaq, and Peaq electric models, provided they have active Škoda Connect services.
To activate Camp Mode, users need to:
- have the high-voltage battery charged to at least 30%,
- have active Škoda Connect services.
Another Step in the Evolution of the MyŠkoda App
The new feature further expands the capabilities of the MyŠkoda app, which connects customers with their vehicles and offers functions such as remote control of selected vehicle features, charging management, route planning, and vehicle status monitoring.
