Does the future have a future? Gen Z at Future Port Youth
Last week, Nová Spirála in Prague turned into a place where you could really feel that the future does have a future. Future Port Youth brought together young people who aren’t waiting for someone else to fix the climate or other global challenges – they are coming up with concrete solutions themselves. Generation Z once again showed that they care about the planet and the people around them and that they know how to build innovation in a smart, sustainable way with huge dedication. And that’s exactly what we at Green:Code root for.
More than 200 student projects from all over the world entered the competition – from climate and education projects to using AI in healthcare. We were happy to be part of selecting the best and most exciting ideas – our Co-CEO Marian Pavlík was on the jury. The atmosphere of the whole day was boosted by inspiring speakers from around the globe, and there was even robot Adam, who earned a lot of well-deserved attention.
A big thank-you goes to Future Port Youth, Martin Holečko and the entire organising team for giving young talents the space to shine and move the world in the right direction. Thanks also to our colleagues from Škoda Auto, with whom we presented the Roadiaq car designed by the incredibly talented students of Střední odborné učiliště Škoda Auto. We’re glad we could be part of it!
