The MyŠkoda mobile app, developed in part by our Green:Code team, has introduced a new feature that uses artificial intelligence to design travel routes with attractive stops tailored to users’ individual preferences across 40 countries. This innovative tool, called Škoda Adventurers, marks a significant step forward in the digital services offered to Škoda Auto customers.
The new tool is available through the map section of the MyŠkoda app and can generate personalized trip suggestions, including interesting stops along the route. The system combines map data with artificial intelligence algorithms to create optimal travel plans.
Discover Hidden Destinations
The Škoda Adventurers feature is available free of charge not only to owners of new Škoda vehicles with integrated app connectivity but also to drivers of older models without direct integration — and even to anyone interested in exploring, regardless of vehicle ownership. Covering 40 countries, it also enables the discovery of international destinations.
When planning a trip, the AI takes into account:
- Personal user preferences,
- budget and financial limits,
- type of travel companions and their needs,
- hidden gems off the beaten tourist paths.
For compatible Škoda vehicles, the system offers additional advanced options such as:
- Direct route transfer to the car’s onboard navigation,
- intelligent charging stop planning for electric vehicles,
- calculation of optimal routes based on the current battery level.
Just Wave the Magic Wand
To create a trip, simply open the MyŠkoda app and select the Maps tab. Then, tap the magic wand icon to begin exploring travel options. From there, users can enter their starting point and destination, and fine-tune their preferences — such as areas of interest and travel budget.
After clicking Create Trip, the app generates an optimal route, including interesting points along the way. If the suggested itinerary isn’t quite right, users can ask the AI to rethink it and create an alternative version. The final route can be reviewed in detail and then sent directly to the car.
Our developers are continuously working on further improvements and expanding the capabilities of Škoda Adventurers based on user feedback. The feature is part of Škoda Auto’s long-term digitalization strategy, focused on enhancing customer value, embracing the latest technologies, and supporting the travel experiences of Škoda drivers worldwide.
