How We Improved the MyŠkoda App and How It Makes Drivers’ Lives Easier

The MyŠkoda project is not just work for us, but a passion that we have been developing enthusiastically together with Škoda Auto for almost two years. Our three teams bring new ideas and improvements every day that move the project forward and make driving easier for Škoda Auto vehicle users. Another year is behind us, and we haven’t been idle. Let’s take a look back together at the new features it has brought!

Smooth Transition from MyŠkoda Essentials

To ensure a smooth transition for users from the MyŠkoda Essentials app, it was necessary not only to maintain support for all existing functions but also to expand compatibility across all connected vehicle platforms. Thanks to this, users can now add not only their Enyaq but also other models such as Octavia, Fabia, or even CITIGOᵉ iV to the MyŠkoda app.

App Available Offline

One of the most common issues with the original app was its dependence on connectivity. Based on user feedback, we decided to significantly improve the user experience by making the app available in offline mode. Now, vehicle data loads instantly and without error messages, even when you don’t have an internet connection.

Loyalty Program Full of Rewards

Fans of the Škoda brand can now enjoy a new feature – the Loyalty Program. Users complete daily challenges and collect points that can be exchanged for rewards. Whether it’s small items or exclusive benefits, this program brings a new level of fun to everyday driving. Plus, you can even involve your family and friends.

Remote Park Assist: Stress-Free Parking

Tight space, a puddle in the parking spot... who wouldn’t want to park without stress? The Remote Park Assist function allows you to park in a tight spot without having to be inside the vehicle. Through the app, your car will find the ideal parking space on its own and take care of everything necessary. This way, you can avoid scratched doors or wet shoes.

Pay to Fuel: Refuel and Pay from the Comfort of Your Car

Forget queues at the checkout. With the Pay to Fuel feature, you can simply refuel and pay directly via your phone. It saves time and helps you avoid unnecessary waiting. In the mobile app, just select the pump number and follow the instructions. This service is currently available at all OMV gas stations in the Czech Republic.

Car Configurator: Design Your Own Car

For those who are still looking for their new Škoda Auto car, we’ve added the Car Configurator feature. It allows you to easily configure your dream car directly from the app.

Together with Škoda Auto, we continuously come up with new ideas and improvements aimed at making your everyday driving experience more enjoyable and easier. Whether it’s new features that increase comfort when using the app or enhancements to existing ones, you can look forward to many exciting updates. We believe you’ll like them as much as we do!
