IT Days Wolfsburg 2025: The First Edition Full of Innovation and Knowledge Sharing

About the Event

In September, the very first edition of Škoda Auto IT Days took place in Wolfsburg. The event provided a platform for presenting IT projects from across Škoda Auto and the Volkswagen Group. Teams from Škoda Auto SAP GCC, Azure, and Green:Code traveled to Germany and jointly prepared 10 thematic booths.

The goal was to showcase the best of our services and products, most importantly, how they practically help address the needs of internal customers.

A Compelling Program

At IT Days, Green:Code presented itself across three key focus areas:

Mobile Development
We demonstrated how our mobile solutions bring smart features into drivers’ everyday lives. From in-app shopping and lifestyle tips in the Volkswagen App, through AI-powered trip planning, remote vehicle control, and charging statistics in the MyŠkoda app, to vehicle control via Wear OS smartwatches.

Smart AI Solutions
We introduced AI tools that push the automotive industry one step further. These ranged from realistic AI avatars for training and sales, to 24/7 learning assistants for dealers, and AI-driven software testing with advanced error detection directly on the production line.

Sales & Aftersales Support
Our digital solutions take the customer journey to a new level. Visitors could explore a unified sales platform connecting dealer applications, as well as Augmented Reality Wheels, enabling instant 3D visualization of different wheel designs.

Other teams from the Volkswagen Group also presented their products and services at Škoda Auto IT Days, from robust SAP solutions and Azure cloud technologies to projects supporting the daily operations of production, logistics, and services. Together, we created a vibrant marketplace full of inspiration, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
