JFrog swampUP Europe 2025
In mid-November, our three-person crew, together with a colleague from Škoda Auto, headed to Berlin for the two-day JFrog swampUP Europe 2025 user conference. The event took place at the JW Marriott hotel, just a short distance from Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz.
Over the two days, they dived into topics around the software supply chain, AI in DevOps, and tools such as JFrog Artifactory and JFrog Xray. The first day was dedicated to a keynote on AI trends and how JFrog is bringing artificial intelligence into the entire DevOps ecosystem. This was followed by technical talks focused on security – for example, recent attacks on the npm ecosystem and risks linked to accounts with permissions to publish to public repositories. The guys especially appreciated the live demos – even with the classic “demo gremlins”, they were highly practical.

Among the product news, they were particularly interested in:
- AI Catalog for clear management of AI artifacts,
- extended scanning of LLM models,
- a more detailed transitive dependency tree,
- preparations for AI-based fixes of security findings.
They used the second day mainly for discussions with the JFrog team – talking through their hands-on experience with integrating the platform across projects, current limitations, and opportunities for further development. They also shared feedback and ideas for features that would save them time in their day-to-day work with Artifactory and Xray. During the talks and workshops, they exchanged experiences with partners such as ServiceNow and others, and came back with plenty of inspiration on how to move our dev and DevOps processes another step forward.
Big thanks to our colleagues from Škoda Auto for joining us!
